Durban is calling Makhosi

It’s the third and last of Kaizer Chiefs’ league matches to be played at Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium this season.

The match is billed to take place on Saturday, 2 March. The visitors are none other than the resilient Highlands Park.

Kick-off is at 18:00.

Chiefs also hosted Polokwane City and Chippa United in Durban, although these league matches were played behind closed doors, as a result of a punishment imposed by the PSL’s Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC) for crowd misbehaviour at the stadium last season.

It promises to be a mouth-watering clash between Chiefs and Highlands Park considering much is at stake. Amakhosi are gunning for the top echelons of the log, while Highlands Park will surely want to remain in the Top 8.

Chiefs have amassed 29 points and occupy sixth spot on the Absa Premiership log, while Highlands are in ninth position with 26 points. Both sides have played 21 matches. Three points separate the two teams ahead of the encounter at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday, 2 March.

When the two teams met in the corresponding fixture played at a fully packed Makhulong Stadium, on 2 October 2018, it ended deadlocked, 0-0.

Tickets are sold at Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers outlets nationwide starting with R90.00 for Premium Reserved Seating in Blocks 200 & 235.

R60.00 for adults, general stadium, and R60.00 at the disabled area.

Activities, competitions and specials will be announced during the build-up to Saturday.
