On this special day when the Chairman of Kaizer Chiefs, Kaizer “Chincha Guluva” Motaung celebrates his 77th birthday, the team will be in action against Chippa United in the DStv Premiership.

Before the FIFA break, Chiefs visited AmaZulu in Durban for a league match and the final score in that match was 1-1. Visitors Chippa United also drew their last encounter against SuperSport United. Theirs was a goalless draw.

Coach Stuart Baxter has opted for one change for today’s game when compared to the last match against Usuthu. The change will see the sensational Nkosingiphile “Mshini” Ngcobo replace Cole Alexander in midfield.

Coach Baxter will apply a 3-4-3- formation in today’s game.

Following his return from national team duties with the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Daniel Akpeyi will be in goal for the third time in a row.

Another player who was in the World Cup qualifiers with Bafana Bafana is Njabulo Ngcobo will be on the right and Austin Dube will be on the left, while Mulomowandau Mathoho will be in the middle of Amakhosi’s defence.

In midfield, Njabulo Blom will be on the right, Reeve Frosler on the left and Nkosingipile Ngcobo will work with Phathutshedzo Ńange in the middle of the park.

The attack is unchanged with Bernard Parker on the left, Keagan Dolly on the right and Khama Billiat leading the attack.

Parker will wear the captain’s armband.

The match officials are referee Tshidido Maruping. His first assistant referee is Thabang Matlhong and the second one is Tantjie Dlamini. The fourth official is Akhona Makalima.

The seventh DStv Premiership match of the 2020-21 season which is between the Glamour Boys and the Chilli Boys will start at 17:30 at FNB Stadium in Nasrec. No spectators will be allowed in the stadium. The game will be shown live on SuperSport’s PSL Channel 202 on DStv, with commentary on various SABC Radio stations and regular updates of the match on Twitter @KaizerChiefs.
