Kaizer Chiefs have hit their stride at a crucial stage of the season, opening the final third of the campaign with a convincing 3-1 victory over Orbit College in Gqeberha on Monday. The win has further fuelled Chiefs’s determination to secure a place in next season’s CAF competitions.

Attention now turns to Sunday’s clash against TS Galaxy at FNB Stadium, where kick-off is set for 15:00. Chiefs are buoyed by three consecutive wins and will be eager to extend their streak in front of their home supporters.

The reverse fixture in December ended in a goalless draw at Mbombela in Nelspruit, though Chiefs were left frustrated after being denied a legitimate goal by Flavio Da Silva.

On the Betway Premiership log, Amakhosi have climb up to third place with 39 points from 21 matches, while Galaxy sit in 11th position with 25 points from their 22 games. The Rockets, however, have a midweek fixture that could alter their standing before Sunday’s encounter.

The fixture is one of only two home matches Chiefs will play in their final 10 games, making it a vital opportunity to capitalise on home ground advantage. Amakhosi faithful are urged to attend in big numbers in their Gold & Black colours and rally behind the Phefeni Glamour Boys as they push for continental qualification.

Tickets are priced at a regular R60 and are available through the MyTicket app, as well as at Shoprite and Checkers outlets.

The Betway Premiership showdown between the Glamour Boys and the Rockets promises intensity and entertainment, with both sides fighting for valuable points as the season heads into its decisive stretch.

Kick-off is at 15:00 on Sunday at FNB stadium in Nasrec.
