Kaizer Chiefs coach, Nasreddine Nabi has ensured there will be no complacency within his squad when they face SuperSport United again at the New Peter Mokaba stadium in Polokwane for a Betway Premiership encounter, barely a week after defeating them soundly at the same venue in the Carling Cup barely a week ago.

Speakking exclusively to www.kaizerchiefs.com, the experienced tactician said he expects a big response from Matsatsantsa ,and has prepared his players for a tough assignment:

On the sense of déjà vu going into the match:

Yes, we are back in Polokwane after one week. Same hotel, same hotel, same preparation to ply the same team, so for us, it’s like being at home from home. We’ll be ready for tomorrow and we want to win this game for our fans.

On the opposition, SuperSport United:

We know SuperSport United as one of the big clubs in South Africa. We respect all of our opponents. We saw their last game against Orlando Pirates and they made chances with good strategic play, so we noticed that and are working with our video analyst to prepare to play them. We know it won’t be an esy game. They will want to come back from losing their last two games, for sure. We have spoken about this all week and our players are ready for a tough match.

On being drawn to play Mamelodi Sundowns in the Carling Cup:

We have had meetings during the week to plan for this game only. We don’t look ahead. We focus on the next match and how to win it. We approach every game like a cup match, which we aim to win. We are not playing in the Carling Cup tomorrow. We have an important league match against SuperSport and all the players are focused and ready for that.

Message to the Amakhosi faithful:

We know what it means to our fans when we win so we are very happy for the fans now and we want to keep winning for them because their support is very important to the team and is a big motivation. We will do our best to win for them.

The match kicks off at 17:30 on Saturday, 26 October at the New Peter Mokaba stadium in Polokwane.
